Moodle Software Developer (PHP)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a talented Moodle Developer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Moodle-based learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education technology and contribute to enhancing the online learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Moodle-based eLearning solutions tailored to the client’s needs.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to integrate educational content.
• Provide technical support and training for Moodle users.
• Implement best practices for user experience and design within Moodle.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance and security issues within the Moodle environment.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in eLearning and Moodle development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Moodle development and administration.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL databases and server management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Type:

This is a full-time position with hybrid working options available.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is CAD 120,000 annually.
